Thank you for your links!

I always enjoy reading commented disassemblies and WIP disassembly project :).

Best of all stuffs are remakes and tools reading original data and logic, based on a previous disassembly work, but there aren't much.

Unfortunately, every big remake i see (Ranarama for example) does not use original data and logic. Besides copyrights problem (if any), i think this is essential to keep the feeling of the original game (guessing is not enough).

i have played several games which has been reverse engine.They need the original data and the sources are redone dissambling the original.
One of the best are another world,flashback,...the last i found is heart of darkness (i have not played already)
